Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program

What is an Employee Assistance Program?

The Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program is a free service provided for you and your dependents by your employer. This program offers a wide variety of counseling, referral, and consultation services, which are all designed to assist you and your family in resolving work/life issues in order to live happier, healthier, more balanced lives. These services are completely confidential and can be easily accessed by calling the toll-free Helpline 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

What Services Are Covered Under the Deer Oaks EAP?

Deer Oaks understands that life can be stressful and at times, overwhelming. You have many duties in addition to work, such as parenting, personal commitments, household responsibilities, and other tasks that make life demanding. Your EAP can assist you in alleviating some of these stresses, as well as resolve work/life problems that may be keeping you from being your best. Deer Oaks offers an extensive range of behavioral health services that are available to you free-of-charge including:

  • Telephone Triage
  • Crisis Intervention Services
  • Supervisor Training
  • Employee Orientations & Wellness Seminars
  • Diagnostic Assessments
  • Individual, Marital, Family & Group Short-Term Counseling
  • Clinical Coordination & Consultation Services
  • Referrals for Legal, Financial & Child/Elder Care Issues

  • Work/Life Balance Coaching
  • Substance Abuse Services

What Kinds of Issues Can Be Resolved Through an EAP?

Counseling can be provided for any issue that is affecting your emotional, behavioral, or interpersonal well-being including, but not limited to:
